R16 (New York City Subway car) - The R16 car is a model of a subway car used on the New York City subway system, which was manufactured by American Car and Foundry. The R16s were assigned to the BMT Eastern Division, although they showed up on the IND Queens and BMT Southern divisions from time to time.
R142 (New York City Subway car) - R142 is the model class of the newest generation of IRT cars for the New York Subway. Built by Bombardier in Plattsburgh, New York and Barre, Vermont from 1999-2002, these 1,060 cars, along with the R142A will be the new backbone of the IRT fleet.
R38 (New York City Subway car) - The R-38 is a New York Subway car class (model). It was built in 1966-1967 for the IND and BMT lines.
R44 (New York City Subway car) - The R44 is a model of passenger train car which operates on the New York City Subway and the Staten Island Railway. The R44 debuted in 1971.
